DCLRC Staff Changes

Friday August 4 is Branch Librarian's Paula Seeger's last day at DCLRC after 5 years of service. Library Associate Lisa Winkler will work full time until a new Branch Librarian is named. A search is currently underway for a new Branch Librarian.

DCBA increases mediation fee

Effective June 1, 2006, the Dane County Bar Association’s Case Mediation Program increased from $50 to $75 the required contribution for participation in the program.

August LAW luncheon features AG candidates

The Legal Association of Women announces their August luncheon:

When: August 9, 2006 at 12:00 noon.

Topic: "Candidates for Wisconsin Attorney General Debate"

Speaker: Peg Lautenschlager and Kathleen Falk have confirmed their participation. J.B. Van Hollen is tentatively scheduled to participate.

Location: The Edgewater Hotel, 666 Wisconsin Avenue, Madison, WI. Free parking is available in the Edgewater Hotel's parking lot.

Menu:
1. Edgewater Chef's Salad Bowl: ham and turkey, Swiss and cheddar cheeses, cucumber, egg and tomato wedges on a bed of mixed greens; choice of 3 dressings.
2. Chicken Florentine: tender spinach leaves blended into a savory bread stuffing, encompassed by a boneless breast of chicken, baked and topped with "supreme sauce" and served over a bed of white rice.
3. Ravioli Florentine: tender pillows of pasta stuffed with spinach and ricotta cheese, served with a marinara sauce.

Program: Candidates for Wisconsin Attorney General will participate in an informal debate on a wide range of issues. If you would like to submit a question for possible inclusion in the debate, please e-mail Kelda Helen Roys at kelda@elitemail.org.

New Leg History Brief
